Is there anything made with Beyers chocolate that doesn’t taste absolutely delicious?
The answer is…NO!
I made the most delicious mousse using their rum truffles, this incredible 3 ingredient mousse recipe is not just simple but utterly delicious. It’s rich, airy and sets in under an hour which makes for the perfect holiday dessert.
All you need is 250 grams of Beyers Rum Truffles, 150 g pink and white marshmallows and 280 ml of double cream. To decorate I added salted pretzels, toasted marshmallows and of course a delicious truffle. For a non-alcoholic alternative you can swop the rum truffles for the Beyers Expresso bar for a lovely rich expresso chocolate mousse.
Here is how you can make this delicious dessert.
250 g Beyers Chocolate Rum Truffles
150 g Pink and white marshmallows
280 ml double cream
- Place truffles, marshmallows and 2 tablespoons of boiling water in a medium heavy based saucepan on medium heat, stir gently until melted, remove from heat and allow to cool for 10-15 minutes.
- Meanwhile, whip cream with a teaspoon of vanilla extract/essence until medium peaks form. Fold in the chocolate marshmallow mixture into the cream.
- Divide into ramekins or glasses and refrigerate until set.
- Before serving top with roasted marshmallows, Salted pretzels and a truffle.
