Golden Milk


Ingredients
600ml full cream milk or milk alternative of choice
1 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 1/4 tap fresh ginger, grated or 1 tsp ground ginger
1 whole cinnamon stick
1 pinch ground black pepper
Honey, to taste

Method
To a small saucepan on medium heat, add milk, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon, black pepper, and honey.

Allow the mixture to simmer gently for 5 minutes, whisking constantly. Turn off the heat and add more honey to taste.

Divide between two glasses, and discard the cinnamon stick. Enjoy!
