
Orange Whiskey Sour
Ingredients
15ml lemon juice
50ml whiskey
25ml brown sugar simple syrup
30ml orange juice
1 egg white, from a medium or large egg
Ice
Orange slice, for garnish
1/2 tsp granulated sugar
Method
Add the lemon juice, whiskey. Sugar syrup, orange juice and egg white to a shaker. Dry shake for a minute. Add in 3-4 ice cubes and shake for a minute.
Pour into a whiskey glass with ice.
To make the brûléed orange garnish, top a thin orange slice with sugar, torch with a kitchen torch until the sugar is beautifully caramelised. Top your cocktail with the brûléed orange slice.
