I think it’s about time I share this dish with you all. It takes a bit of an effort but it is just so worth it.
Spicy Indian inspired meatballs with fresh ginger, garlic, chilli and fresh dhania air fried to perfection – you could also fry these in a pan or pop them into the oven.
Topped with homemade marinara sauce, once you make your own you’ll never go back to buying the bottled stuff EVER! And of course a ton of Parmigiano.
You guys!!! This dish as the kids say hits hard! I’m actually having some right now for breakfast and I’m just infatuated.
Try it, you’ll love it!
Ingredients
Meatballs:
500g chicken mince
2 green chilli, increase if you can handle it
1 cup of fresh dhania
4 cloves fresh garlic
Teaspoon of fresh ginger
Salt and pepper
For Marinara sauce:
Olive oil
400g can of whole tomatoes
4 cloves of garlic, roughly chopped
1 teaspoon chilli flakes
1 teaspoon dried oregano
A bit of salt, if needed
Method:
1. Blitz the ginger, garlic, dhania and chilli till smooth. Mix into your mince and form into meatballs. Airfry for 10 minutes on 180°C or oven bake with a little olive oil.
2. Heat up your saucepan and add in your marinara sauce ingredients and allow to simmer on a low heat for 30 minutes. Taste for salt and add accordingly.
3. Place the meatballs into an oven safe casserole and top with the marinara sauce and Parmigiano. Bake until the cheese has melted and serve.
Hope you enjoy this dish, it is so divine.
