How to Make Butter Chicken Pizza

Step 1: Make the Pizza Dough

In a bowl, mix 120ml warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit until foamy (5–10 minutes).

In a large bowl, combine flour and salt.

Add yeast mixture, remaining water, and olive oil. Mix into a dough.

Knead for 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

Cover and let rise for 1–1½ hours until doubled.

Divide into 2 dough balls and rest for 20–30 minutes.

Step 2: Prepare the Butter Chicken Topping

Cook the Chicken:

Marinate the chicken with salt, chilli powder, cumin, and ginger garlic paste.

Heat oil in a pan and cook until golden. Set aside.

Make the Sauce:

In the same pan, add butter, onion, cashews, tomatoes, dried chillies, and spices.

Cook until softened. Cool slightly.

Blend into a smooth paste.

Return to the pan with butter and simmer for 1–2 minutes.

Stir in cream.

Important: Keep the chicken and sauce separate for topping the pizza.

Step 3: Assemble the Pizza

Preheat oven to 220–250°C.

Roll or stretch out your dough.

Spread a layer of butter chicken sauce over the base.

Add mozzarella cheese.

Top with cooked chicken pieces.

Add extra onion slices if using.

Step 4: Bake

Bake for 10–12 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.

Step 5: Finish & Serve

Garnish with fresh coriander

Optional drizzle of extra cream or sauce

Slice and serve hot 🔥
