Whose counting the minutes till the next episode of the Game of Thrones? I am!
We are planning a little watch party to celebrate. One of my favourite love to hate characters on the show has got to be The Hound, will Arya kill him or will she not?
To commemorate this epic occasion I whipped up a batch of what I’d like to call The Hound Dogs, they’re super delicious and probably won’t even make it till tomorrow morning (my husband has had 3 already), he thinks they’re amazing and well they are!
These next level gourmet hot dogs are topped with a delicious tangy sauce, grilled sweetcorn, crumbled feta and spring onion. They’re so easy to make you wouldn’t want to eat a hot dog any other way!
Here’s how you can make them!
Ingredients
1 small garlic clove, minced
3 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sour cream
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/8 teaspoon chili powder
2 tablespoons unsalted butter
200g sweet corn
6 sausages
6 hot dog rolls
1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
Chives, finely chopped
Method
1. Pre-heat oven to 200°c. In small bowl, mix garlic, mayonnaise, sour cream, lime juice and chili powder until well combined. Keep sauce in the fridge until ready to use.
2. Fry corn on high with 2 tablespoons of butter until beautifully browned. Set aside.
3. Place sausages on a baking tray and pop them into a pre-heated oven for 30 minutes or until cooked.
4. Place sausages in buns; top with sauce mixture, sweetcorn, feta cheese, chives and serve.
