
Chocolate Covered Strawberries
Ingredients
200g milk chocolate
2 tsp vegetable oil
500g strawberries
Coating
Toasted almonds, crushed
Desiccated coconut
Milk chocolate drizzle
Sprinkles
Method
Line a tray with baking paper.
Place chocolate and oil in a microwave-proof bowl, and microwave at 30-second intervals, stirring in between until the chocolate has melted.
Grip the strawberry by the stem, and dip it into the chocolate until fully coated.
Dip the chocolate-covered strawberry in desiccated coconut, crushed nuts, or sprinkles, and place on baking paper to set.
Repeat with remaining strawberries.
Refrigerate until chocolate is firm, 10-15 minutes. Best served on the day you make them. Enjoy!
