Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
1 large onion, finely chopped
2 garlic cloves, minced
500g beef mince
800g roma tomatoes, pureed
750 ml beef stock
3 teaspoons Rajah All-In-One Curry Powder with Garlic
2 tsp dried oregano
2 bay leaves
2 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
2 tbsp tomato paste
Salt and black pepper, to taste
500g Spaghetti or Bucatini, prepared per package instructions
Method
Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat.
Sauté onion and garlic till translucent.
Add the beef mince and cook till the beef is nicely browned.
Stir in the pureed tomatoes.
Add the beef stock, Rajah Curry Powder, oregano, bay leaves, Worcestershire sauce, tomato
paste, salt, and pepper. Mix till all the ingredients are combined.
Cover pot with the lid and allow to gently simmer for 2 hours on medium-low heat – stir every 30
minutes.
To prepare the pasta bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
Add the pasta and cook per package instructions.
Reserve a cup of pasta water before straining.
Add pasta to the bolognese sauce, if the sauce is too thick pour in a little pasta water until you’ve
reached your desired consistency. Toss gently and plate up. Serve with lots of grated parmesan.
Enjoy!
