Easter Rice Krispie Treats

Ingredients
80g butter
200g marshmallows
1 tsp vanilla extract
100g Rice Krispies
200g milk chocolate, melted
125g speckled eggs, roughly chopped
Sprinkles, optional

Method
Line a 20×20 cm baking pan with baking paper. Set aside.
Add melted butter to a microwave-safe bowl, and add in the marshmallows. Once melted, microwave at 1-minute intervals mixing in between until melted.
Stir in the vanilla extract. Fold in the cereal, making sure the grain is generously coated with the marshmallow mixture.
Transfer the mixture to the prepared pan. Using a rubber spatula gently spread the mixture to fit the pan.
Top with melted chocolate and decorate with speckled eggs and sprinkles.
Allow the rice krispie treats to set for at least 1 hour at room temperature or until the chocolate has hardened. Slice into squares and enjoy!
