Ingredients
250g Butter
180g semolina
1 litre full cream milk
250g condensed milk, adjust sweetness to your liking
1 tsp elachi powder
1 large cinnamon stick
1 tsp egg yellow powder
To serve
1 tin Nestles Cream
Slivered almonds
Method
Preheat oven to 180C.
In a large pan on medium heat, add the butter and allow to melt. Add in the semolina and cinnamon stick, mix and toast for 8-10 minutes. Pour in the milk, and whisk constantly until the mixture is smooth and thick.
Add in the, ground elachi, condensed milk, and egg yellow powder. Mix until smooth and thick.
Pour the mixture into an oven safe casserole, and bake for 15 minutes uncovered.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for 15 minutes. Scoop into serving bowls and top with dessert cream and toasted almonds. Best enjoyed warm.
